    If you are traveling by car, start from Kyoto city center and head northwest towards Kamigyo Ward. Take the Katsura River Road (Route 162) for approximately 25 minutes until you reach the junction with Route 367. Turn left onto Route 367 and continue for about 10 minutes. Look for signs directing you to Myōren-ji Temple. The temple is located at 875 Myorenjimaecho, Kamigyo Ward, Kyoto, 602-8418. Parking is available near the temple, but it may incur a fee.

    For public transportation, take the Kyoto City Bus from Kyoto Station. Board the bus route 205 or 206 and get off at the 'Kyoto Gyoen' stop. From there, transfer to bus route 9 and head towards 'Myōren-ji Temple.' The bus will drop you off near the temple. The entire journey may take around 45 minutes and costs approximately 230 yen.
