    If you are traveling by car from central Settsu, head east on Route 170. After approximately 10 kilometers, merge onto the Kinki Expressway (Route 8) towards Kyoto. Continue for about 15 kilometers, then take the exit for Kyoto. Follow the signs for Route 1, and then take Route 9 towards Kita Ward. After about 5 kilometers, turn left onto Murasakino Daitokujicho. Daitoku-ji Ohbai-in will be on your right at 83-1 Murasakino Daitokujicho. Be prepared for parking fees which may vary, so have some cash or a card ready.

    To reach Daitoku-ji Ohbai-in using public transportation, start by taking the JR Takarazuka Line from Settsu to Osaka Station. From Osaka Station, transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line and travel to Kawaramachi Station. At Kawaramachi Station, switch to the Kyoto City Bus. Take Bus 204 or 205 towards Daitoku-ji and alight at Daitoku-ji Mae. From the bus stop, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Daitoku-ji Ohbai-in located at 83-1 Murasakino Daitokujicho. The total travel time will be around 1.5 hours, and the bus fare will be approximately 230 yen.
