If you're traveling by car, start from central Settsu and head towards Route 170. Follow Route 170 north until you reach the junction with Route 1. Merge onto Route 1 and continue driving towards Kyoto. After about 20 km, take the exit towards Kamo River and continue to follow the signs for Daitoku-ji. The temple is located at 80 Murasakino Daitokujicho, Kita Ward, Kyoto, 603-8231. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to park in a designated area and walk the last few minutes to the temple.

To reach Daitoku-ji Korin-in using public transportation, first take the train from Settsu to Umeda Station (approximately 15 minutes). From Umeda, transfer to the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and take the train to Shijo Station (around 10 minutes). At Shijo Station, switch to the Kyoto City Bus #205. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Daitoku-ji bus stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the temple. Ensure you have some cash for the bus fare, which is typically around 230 yen.
