Look for the bus stop for Kyoto City Bus. Take bus number 28 or 33 towards Matsunoo-taisha Shrine. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Matsunoo-taisha Shrine stop. From the bus stop, the shrine is a short walk away.

From Kyoto Station, take the JR Sagano Line to Saga-Arashiyama Station. This journey takes around 15 minutes. After arriving at Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop for Kyoto City Bus. Board bus number 28 or 33 towards Matsunoo-taisha Shrine. The bus ride will take about 10-15 minutes. Disembark at the Matsunoo-taisha Shrine stop, and you will find the shrine a short distance from the bus stop.

If you are staying in the Arashiyama area, you can reach Matsunoo-taisha Shrine by walking. From the center of Arashiyama, head southwest on Arashiyama Main Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection. Turn left onto Matsuo-Miyamachi road. Follow this road for about 20 minutes, and you will arrive at the Matsunoo-taisha Shrine. Signs along the way will help guide you.
