Getting There

  • Train

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR San-in Line towards Saga-Arashiyama Station. The train ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and head towards the north exit.

    After exiting Saga-Arashiyama Station, walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see a main road (Sagano-suji) ahead. Turn left on the main road and continue walking straight for another 10-15 minutes. You will pass by the scenic Arashiyama area.

    As you continue walking, you will reach the Togetsukyō Bridge. The bridge is located at 1-5 Sagatenryuji Susukinobabacho, Ukyo Ward, Kyoto, 616-8384. You will see the bridge spanning the Katsura River, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and cherry blossoms (in season).
