If you're traveling by car, navigate to Kyoto City and head towards Nakagyo Ward. Enter the address 166 Monzencho, Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto, 604-8306 into your GPS. From the city center, take Karasuma Street (Karasuma-dori) south until you reach Oike Street (Oike-dori). Turn left onto Oike Street, then immediately right onto Monzencho Street (Monzencho-dori). Shinsen-en will be on your right. Parking may be limited, so be prepared to find nearby street parking or a paid parking lot.

Public Transportation
To reach Shinsen-en via public transportation, begin your journey at Kyoto Station. Take the Karasuma Subway Line towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at Karasuma Oike Station. From there, transfer to the Tozai Line and head towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa Station. Get off at Nijo Station. Exit the station and walk west towards Monzencho Street (Monzencho-dori). Turn right, and you will find Shinsen-en at 166 Monzencho, just a short walk away. Be sure to check local train schedules for any changes in timings.

For those adventurous enough to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from various shops around Kyoto. From the city center, head towards Nijo Castle and then follow the signs to Monzencho Street (Monzencho-dori). The ride should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
