If you're driving, start by heading south on Route 35 from Nagasaki city center. Follow the signs for Sasebo and continue for about 50 kilometers. Once you reach Sasebo, take the exit onto Route 202. After about 2 kilometers, turn left onto Uwamachi Street. The JMSDF Sasebo Museum Sail Tower will be on your left at 8-1 Uwamachi.

To get to the JMSDF Sasebo Museum Sail Tower by train, take the JR Nagasaki Line from Nagasaki Station towards Sasebo Station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour.
