Getting There

  • Bus

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Iga-Ueno Station. The bus ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Iga-Ueno Station, exit the station and look for the bus stop for the Iga City Loop Bus. Take the bus that goes towards 'Ueno Park' and get off at the 'Danjiri Museum' stop. The museum is located just a short walk from the bus stop.

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Iga-Ueno Station. After arriving at Iga-Ueno Station, exit the station and head north on Route 368. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 20 minutes on foot) until you reach the Danjiri Museum, which will be on your right side.
