From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto. Get off at Tofukuji Station (approximately 45 minutes). Once you exit the station, head towards the East exit. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with the main road, and then turn left. Continue walking, and you will see signs pointing towards Fushimi Inari Shrine.

From Nara Park, walk to the Nara Bus Station. Take the bus bound for Kyoto Station. Alight at Tofukuji Station. After exiting the bus, follow the signs to the East exit of Tofukuji Station. From there, walk straight for about 10 minutes, turning left at the main road when you reach the junction. Follow the signs to Fushimi Inari Shrine.

If you prefer more convenience, you can take a taxi directly from your location in Nara to Fushimi Inari Shrine. Simply tell the driver 'Fushimi Inari Taisha' (伏見稲荷大社) or show them the address: 68番地 Fukakusa Yabunouchicho, Fushimi Ward, Kyoto, 612-0882. The ride will take approximately 40 minutes depending on traffic.
