If you are driving, head towards the center of Nikko and follow the signs for 'Toshogu Shrine'. From the Nikko city center, take Route 119 and then turn onto Route 293 towards Sannai. After approximately 2 km, you will see signs for Nikko Toshogu Hōmotsukan Museum on your left. There is parking available near the museum, but please note that there might be a parking fee of around 500 yen.
