Car
If you are driving from central Omi, head north on Route 19. Follow the signs for Matsumoto, and after approximately 30 minutes, merge onto the Nagano Expressway (toll road). Continue for about 20 minutes until you reach the Matsumoto exit. After exiting, turn right onto Route 158 and follow the signs to Satoyamabe. The Katsura Shigehide Museum is located at 5111-4 Hayashi, Satoyamabe, Matsumoto. There is parking available on-site, but please check for any parking fees.

Public Transportation
From Omi Station, take the JR Shinonoi Line towards Matsumoto. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once at Matsumoto Station, exit the station and take a local bus (Matsumoto City Community Bus) towards Hayashi. Make sure to check the bus schedule as the frequency may vary. Get off at the Hayashi bus stop, which is about a 10-minute walk from the Katsura Shigehide Museum. The museum is located at 5111-4 Hayashi, Satoyamabe, Matsumoto. There may be a small bus fare, so keep some change handy.
