If you are driving, start from Matsumoto Station. Head southwest on Sakaemachi Street toward the Matsumoto Castle. Continue straight for about 1.5 km. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Route 158. Follow this road for approximately 3 km. Take the exit toward Satoyamabe and merge onto Prefectural Road 24. After 1 km, turn left onto Satoyamabe Street. The Matsumoto Mingeikan Folk Art Museum will be on your right at 1313-1 Satoyamabe.

To reach the Matsumoto Mingeikan Folk Art Museum by public transport, start at Matsumoto Station. Take the bus #1 or #2 from the station, heading toward Satoyamabe. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Satoyamabe' bus stop. From there, walk approximately 500 meters east on Satoyamabe Street, and you will find the museum on your left at 1313-1 Satoyamabe.
