Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading toward Hatsukaichi City. From central Suō, take Route 2 towards Hatsukaichi. Follow the signs for Miyajima and continue on Route 2 until you reach the ferry terminal area. Look for signs directing you to the 'Miyajima' ferry terminal, which is near the address 〒739-0588 Hiroshima, Hatsukaichi, Miyajimacho, 御笠の浜. There is parking available near the terminal, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around 1,000 to 2,000 yen per day depending on the lot.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, take a train from Suō to Miyajima-guchi Station. You can catch the JR Sanyo Line from Suō Station toward Hiroshima and get off at Miyajima-guchi Station. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. From Miyajima-guchi Station, it’s a short walk to the ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Miyajima (around 180 yen one way). Upon arrival at Miyajima, follow the signs leading you to Rokai Bune, which is located at 御笠の浜. The walk from the ferry terminal to Rokai Bune takes approximately 15 minutes.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Suō directly to Rokai Bune. Taxis are readily available and can be a convenient option if you are traveling with a group or have luggage. The taxi fare will vary based on distance, but you can expect to pay around 3,000 to 5,000 yen depending on traffic conditions.
