If you are driving from Hiroshima countryside, head towards the Sanyo Expressway and take the exit towards Hatsukaichi. Continue on Route 2 towards Miyajima. Follow the signs for the ferry terminal at Miyajima-guchi, where you will find parking facilities. Parking fees typically range from 500 to 1,000 yen per day. Once parked, walk to the ferry terminal and take a ferry to Miyajima Island, which takes about 10 minutes and costs around 180 yen one way.

To reach Miyajima Public Aquarium using public transport, take a train from Hiroshima Station to Miyajima-guchi Station on the JR Sanyo Line. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. From Miyajima-guchi Station, walk to the nearby ferry terminal (about a 5-minute walk). Board the ferry to Miyajima Island, which costs around 180 yen and takes about 10 minutes. Upon arriving at Miyajima Island, walk towards the aquarium, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal.
