    From Bregenz train station, take the Line 101 bus towards Pfänderbahn. The bus departs hourly and the journey takes approximately 7 minutes. The bus stop is located directly in front of the Pfänderbahn valley station. A single ticket costs between €1-€2.

  • Walking

    From Bregenz Hafen (harbor), the Pfänderbahn valley station is approximately a 5-minute walk. From Bregenz train station, the valley station is approximately a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs towards Pfänderbahn. The route is well-marked and relatively flat.

  • Taxi

    A taxi from Bregenz train station to the Pfänderbahn valley station takes approximately 4 minutes and costs around €7-€9.

  • Car

    From the A14 highway, take the exit Lochau and follow the L1 road towards Bregenz. The Pfänderbahn is signposted. Parking is available at Parkplatz Pfänderbahn P6 (Steinbruchgasse 4) and Parkhaus Pfaenderbahn P15 (Schillerstraße 3). Please note: Pfaenderbahn passengers who use the aforementioned parking facilities, will receive the first three hours of parking free. Please present your parking ticket for validation at the ticket counter. The coach park north (Busparkplatz Nord) is situated beside Reichstraße in Bregenz, opposite the military complex. 11 parking lots available. Approximately a 10-minute walk to lower terminal of the Pfaender cable car. Parking fees: € 5, - per hour between 6:00 and 23:00 (no parking fees between 23:00 and 6:00).
