Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Acadia National Park, head towards Park Loop Road and follow the signs for Northeast Harbor. Continue walking along the scenic path that leads to the entrance of the park. Once you reach the exit of the park, follow Route 198 towards Northeast Harbor. After about 1 mile, you will arrive at Main Street. Take a left onto Main Street, and the Great Harbor Maritime Museum will be located on your right at 124 Main St, Northeast Harbor, ME 04662.

    Starting from the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, bike down Park Loop Road until you reach the junction with Route 198. Turn left onto Route 198 and continue cycling towards Northeast Harbor. After approximately 2.5 miles, you’ll come to Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street, and you will find the Great Harbor Maritime Museum at 124 Main St, Northeast Harbor, ME 04662, just a short distance ahead on the right.
