The Wendell Gilley Museum will be on your right at 4 Herrick Rd, Southwest Harbor, ME 04679. Parking is available on site.

For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedules for the Island Explorer, which operates around Mount Desert Island. Board the bus heading towards Southwest Harbor. Get off at the Southwest Harbor stop. From there, it will be about a 15-minute walk to the museum. Head west on Main Street, then turn left onto Herrick Road. The museum will be on your left at 4 Herrick Rd.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle in Bar Harbor or Southwest Harbor. Take the scenic route along ME-3 and then turn onto Herrick Road. The museum is approximately 10 miles from Bar Harbor and offers bike racks for parking.

If you're in Southwest Harbor already, you can simply walk to the museum. From the center of town, head south on Main Street, then left onto Herrick Road. The museum will be located about a half-mile down on your right. It's a pleasant walk with views of the surrounding area.
