If you're driving, head to the main roads of Mount Desert Island. From Bar Harbor, take ME-3 South towards Southwest Harbor. Continue on ME-3 for about 9 miles. When you reach the intersection with Crooked Road, turn right onto Crooked Road. After about a mile, take a left onto Cooksey Drive. The Mt Desert Land & Garden Preserve will be on your left at 92 Cooksey Drive, Seal Harbor, ME 04675.

If you're using public transportation, check the local bus service, the Island Explorer, which operates during the summer season. Take the bus heading towards Southwest Harbor and get off at the Seal Harbor stop. From there, it is approximately a 1-mile walk to the Preserve. Head southeast on ME-3, and then turn left onto Cooksey Drive. The Preserve will be on your left.
