    From any point in Bethesda, walk to the Bethesda Metro Station located at 7400 Wisconsin Ave. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Stay on the train for about 10 stops until you reach the Smithsonian Station. Exit the train and follow the signs to the exit. Once you exit the station, walk east on Independence Ave SW for about 0.5 miles. The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History will be on your left at 10th St. & Constitution Ave. NW.

    Find the nearest bus stop for the Ride On bus service. You can take the Route 34 or 36 bus towards the Silver Spring Metro. Get off at the Rockville Pike & Montgomery Ave stop. From there, transfer to the WMATA Metrobus Route 30N or 30S towards the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. The bus will drop you off near the museum. Walk the last few steps to reach 10th St. & Constitution Ave. NW.
