If you're driving, head southeast on your preferred route toward Washington, D.C. Once you reach the Anacostia area, use the following directions: Take I-295 S toward Richmond. Take the exit toward Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE. Continue straight onto Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE. Turn left onto Fort Pl SE. The Anacostia Community Museum will be on your left at 1901 Fort Pl SE, Washington, DC 20020. There is limited street parking available, and it may be metered, so be prepared for potential parking fees.

To reach the Anacostia Community Museum via public transportation, take the Washington Metro. Board the Green Line at any station heading south towards Branch Avenue. Disembark at the Anacostia Metro Station.
