Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are in Silver Spring, make your way to the Silver Spring Metro Station located at 8401 Colesville Road. From there, take the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Ride the train for approximately 14 minutes and get off at the Metro Center Station. Once you exit the train, follow the signs to transfer to the Blue, Orange, or Yellow Lines. Take the Blue Line towards Largo Town Center or the Orange Line towards New Carrollton. Disembark at the Federal Triangle Station, which is the closest station to your destination. From Federal Triangle, exit the station and walk west along Pennsylvania Avenue NW for about 5 minutes until you reach 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, the US Navy Memorial Visitor Center.

    Start at the Silver Spring Transit Center. Look for the Metrobus routes that head towards Washington, DC. Routes such as the F4 or C2 will take you to downtown DC. Board the bus and ride for about 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. You will want to get off at the stop near 7th Street NW and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. From there, walk east along Pennsylvania Avenue NW for about 2 minutes to reach the US Navy Memorial Visitor Center at 701 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
