Walking
From the Blue Bay beach area, head southwest towards the main road (A1). Continue along the beach promenade until you reach the main road. Cross over to the A1 road and turn left. Follow the A1 road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Le Morne. You will continue straight on the A1, passing through the village of Mahebourg. After around 3 kilometers, the road will lead you through the scenic coastal area. Continue to follow the A1 until you reach the sign for Le Morne. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will see signage for the Slave Route Monument. Follow the signs leading to the monument, which is situated within the Le Morne Cultural Landscape.
