Walking
From the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, head south on the main path until you reach the exit. Upon exiting, turn right onto the main road (B9). Continue along B9 for about 1.5 kilometers, enjoying the lush scenery around you. You will see signs directing you to the Maconde Viewpoint. The viewpoint will be on your left. Look for the marked path leading to the viewpoint.
Public Bus
Locate the nearest bus stop from the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden. You can catch a bus heading towards Port Louis. Inform the driver that you want to go to Maconde Viewpoint. The bus will take you along B9 and drop you off near the viewpoint. After disembarking, walk a short distance back towards the viewpoint; it will be clearly visible from the road.
Bike Rental
If you have rented a bike, start from the central area of Pamplemousses and head south towards the B9 road. Once you reach B9, turn right and pedal along the road for about 1.5 kilometers. Follow the signs for Maconde Viewpoint. There is a designated bike path that will lead you directly to the viewpoint.
