Collective Taxi (Colectivo)
From any location in Tulum, head to the main road (Carretera Tulum-Cancún) where you can find colectivos. Look for a colectivo heading towards Felipe Carrillo Puerto or Chunyaxché. The fare is typically around 50-70 pesos. Confirm with the driver that they will drop you off near Puerto Laguna Chunyaxché. The colectivo will take you along the highway, and you will need to get off when you reach the intersection for Laguna Chunyaxché.

Bicycle Rental
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Tulum. Start your journey towards the main road (Carretera Tulum-Cancún) and head north. After approximately 9 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Chunyaxché. There might be a dirt road leading off the main road towards the lagoon. Follow this road until you reach the lagoon area. Ensure you have plenty of water and sunscreen for the ride.

Walking (for the adventurous)
If you're up for a long walk, you can make your way to Puerto Laguna Chunyaxché on foot. Start from the center of Tulum and walk towards the main road (Carretera Tulum-Cancún). Head north for about 9 kilometers. You will eventually reach the intersection for Chunyaxché. From there, follow the dirt road towards the lagoon. Keep in mind that this is a lengthy walk and can take over 2 hours, so plan accordingly.
