Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, you can start from Tulum. Head northwest on Carretera Tulum-Coba (Mex 109) towards Coba. After about 45 minutes, you will reach the town of Coba. From there, follow the signs to Nuevo Durango. The village is located on the Quintana Roo Nuevo Durango - Coba road, approximately 10 minutes from Coba. Look for the signs indicating Xunáan Kab Mayan Village. Please note that parking may not be available on-site, so be prepared to park nearby and walk.

• Public Transportation

  For those opting for public transportation, you can take a bus from Tulum to Coba. Buses leave regularly from the Tulum bus terminal and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Coba, you will find local taxis that can take you to Xunáan Kab Mayan Village for a small fee (approximately 50-100 MXN depending on the distance). The taxi ride will take about 10 minutes. Always confirm the fare before starting your journey.

• Taxi

  If you are in a nearby town, you can take a taxi directly to Xunáan Kab Mayan Village. For example, from Coba, the taxi fare should be around 50-100 MXN. Ensure you communicate your destination clearly to the driver and confirm the fare beforehand to avoid any misunderstandings.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Coba and ride to Xunáan Kab Mayan Village. The distance is approximately 6 km and takes about 30 minutes. This will give you a chance to enjoy the scenic views of the Yucatan Peninsula. Be sure to carry water and sun protection as needed.
