If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto I-495 W (Long Island Expressway) towards New York City. Follow I-495 W for about 35 miles, then take the exit toward the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. Pay the toll when crossing the bridge (approximately $19.00 for cars). After crossing, take the exit for I-278 W toward Staten Island. Continue on I-278 W and take exit 13 for Hylan Blvd. Merge onto Hylan Blvd and continue for about 3 miles. The Alice Austen House will be on your right at 2 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10305.

Public Transportation (Train & Bus)
If you prefer public transportation, take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) from any station in Long Island to Penn Station in Manhattan. From Penn Station, transfer to the subway and take the R train toward Bay Ridge. At the 95th St station, transfer to the S53 bus toward Staten Island. The S53 bus will take you directly to Hylan Blvd. Get off at the stop for Hylan Blvd and Richmond Ave, then walk about 0.5 miles along Hylan Blvd. The Alice Austen House will be on your left at 2 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10305.
