Disembark at the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. Once there, take the Staten Island Ferry, which is free and operates frequently. Enjoy the scenic ride, and after about 25 minutes, you'll arrive at the St. George Terminal on Staten Island. From the terminal, you can catch the S40 bus towards the South Beach.
