    From Nelson city, head west on State Highway 6 towards Motueka. Continue on SH6 for about 40 km until you reach the junction for SH60. Take the turn onto SH60 and follow it towards Takaka. Once in Takaka, continue onto the Takaka Hill Road, which will take you through the stunning hills. After approximately 20 km, you'll reach the town of Takaka. Continue through the town and follow the signs towards Collingwood. From Takaka, it's about a 30-minute drive to Collingwood. Once you reach Collingwood, follow the signs to the Kahurangi Point Lighthouse. Note that the last part of the journey involves traveling along a gravel road. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for this terrain.
