    Start at the Whangarei Town Basin. From the Town Basin, head east along the Hatea River Walkway. Continue on the path until you reach the intersection with Lower Dent Street. Turn left onto Lower Dent Street and walk until you reach Bank Street. Turn right onto Bank Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Onerahi Road. Take the bus from the bus stop on Onerahi Road heading towards Onerahi. Once you reach the Onerahi Village stop, disembark and walk towards Raumati Crescent. Follow Raumati Crescent until you reach the Dragonfly Spring Wetlands Sanctuary at 47 Raumati Crescent.
