Walking
Start at the Whangarei Town Basin. From the Town Basin, head east along the Hatea River Walkway. Continue on the path until you reach the intersection with Lower Dent Street. Turn left onto Lower Dent Street and walk until you reach Bank Street. Turn right onto Bank Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Onerahi Road. Take the bus from the bus stop on Onerahi Road heading towards Onerahi. Once you reach the Onerahi Village stop, disembark and walk towards Raumati Crescent. Follow Raumati Crescent until you reach the Dragonfly Spring Wetlands Sanctuary at 47 Raumati Crescent.

Begin your journey at the Whangarei Bus Station located on Bank Street. Take the bus heading towards Onerahi. The bus will take you along Onerahi Road. Once you reach the Onerahi Village stop, get off the bus. After disembarking, walk north on Onerahi Road, then take a right onto Raumati Crescent. Continue walking until you arrive at the Dragonfly Spring Wetlands Sanctuary, located at 47 Raumati Crescent.
