Car
If you're driving to the Rock of Ages Arch, make your way to Cascade Locks. From downtown Cascade Locks, head east on Highway 30 (also known as the Historic Columbia River Highway) for about 1 mile. Look for the sign for the Rock of Ages Trail on your right. There is a small parking area where you can leave your car. From there, follow the trail signs which will lead you through a beautiful forested area until you reach the arch.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, take the Columbia Gorge Express bus, which operates from Portland. Board the bus at the Gateway Transit Center and ride until the Cascade Locks stop. Once you arrive in Cascade Locks, you will need to walk. Head east on the Historic Columbia River Highway for about 1 mile until you reach the Rock of Ages Trail entrance on your right. The trailhead is well-marked, and you will find a parking area if you need to wait for a carpool or for someone to pick you up after your hike.
