If you are driving, start from the nearest town in the Columbia River Gorge area such as Hood River or Cascade Locks. From Hood River, take I-84 W towards Portland. Continue on I-84 W for approximately 20 miles. Take exit 28 for Multnomah Falls. After exiting, follow the signs to Multnomah Falls Overlook Spur Trail. The scenic area is located at Multnomah Falls Overlook Spur Trail #441A, Cascade Locks, OR 97014. There is no parking fee at the overlook, but be aware that it can get crowded, especially during weekends.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the Columbia Gorge Express shuttle service from Portland. The shuttle departs from the Gateway Transit Center. You will need to check the current schedule and fares on their website. The shuttle will take you directly to the Multnomah Falls area. From the drop-off point, it is a short walk to the Multnomah Falls Overlook Spur Trail #441A. Be mindful of the shuttle's return schedule to avoid being stranded.
