To reach Llanganuco Chinancocha via public transportation, take a bus from Huaraz to Caraz. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Huaraz, and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Caraz, you can catch a colectivo (shared taxi) to Llanganuco Lakes. The colectivo ride will take an additional 30 minutes. Be sure to confirm the destination with the driver before boarding. The total cost for the bus from Huaraz to Caraz is around 10-15 PEN, and the colectivo may cost around 5-10 PEN per person.
