Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Huaraz, which is the nearest major city. Drive along the Calle 28 de Julio towards Av. Luzuriaga, then take the road to Carhuaz via PE-3N. Continue on PE-3N until you reach the town of Carhuaz. From Carhuaz, follow the signs to Laguna Paron. The road will eventually lead you onto a dirt road; continue for about 30 minutes until you reach the parking area near the entrance to Mirador Laguna Paron. Note that the road may be rough in places, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. The entire journey from Huaraz should take around 2 hours. Remember to have cash on hand for the parking fee, which is usually around 10-20 soles.

Public Transportation
To reach Mirador Laguna Paron via public transport, start by taking a bus from Huaraz to Carhuaz. Buses leave frequently from the main terminal in Huaraz and the fare is typically around 10 soles. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Carhuaz, you can find a shared taxi (colectivo) that will take you to Laguna Paron. The colectivo ride costs around 15-20 soles and takes approximately 45 minutes. Be sure to confirm that the taxi goes to the lagoon entrance before boarding. After arriving at the entrance, you will need to pay an entrance fee to access the viewpoint, which is generally around 5 soles.
