Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Huaraz. Take the PE-3N highway and head towards Carhuaz. After approximately 28 kilometers, turn off onto the road that leads to Parón Lake. This road is well-marked and you will pass through a village called Carhuaz. Continue for about 25 kilometers on this road until you reach the entrance to Parón Lake. The road is mostly in good condition, but be cautious of some rough patches, especially during the rainy season.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Huaraz to Carhuaz. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in Huaraz and the journey takes about 30 minutes.
