Car
If you are driving from Huaraz, take the Carretera Huaraz - Carhuaz (PE-3N) road. Continue for about 25 km until you reach the town of Carhuaz. From Carhuaz, take the road towards the town of Yungay (PE-3N) and continue for approximately 12 km. After Yungay, follow the signs to the Llanganuco Valley. You will eventually reach the entrance to the Huascarán National Park where you will need to pay an entrance fee (around S/ 10). Continue driving for about 10 km until you reach the parking area for Lake 69, where you will need to park your car.

From Huaraz, take a bus from the main terminal to Yungay. The bus ride typically costs around S/ 10 and takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Yungay, look for local taxis or shared vans heading to the Llanganuco Valley. The fare for this leg is approximately S/ 15-20. Inform the driver that you want to go to Lake 69. They will drop you off at the entrance to the Huascarán National Park, where you need to pay an entrance fee of around S/ 10. From the entrance, you will need to trek approximately 1.5-2 hours to reach Lake 69, following the marked trail.
