Car
If you're driving from the North Coast region of Peru, you will need to take the Pan-American Highway (Route 1) south towards Lima. From Lima, continue southeast on Route 3S toward Cusco. Once you reach the town of Ollantaytambo, follow signs for the train station, where you can park your car. From Ollantaytambo, you will need to take a train to Aguas Calientes. The train ride offers beautiful views of the Sacred Valley and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival at Aguas Calientes, you can walk or take a short taxi ride to Supertramp Hostel located at Ave Pachacutec 806.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Supertramp Hostel Machupicchu using public transportation, you can take a bus from any major city in the North Coast, such as Trujillo or Piura, to Cusco. Once in Cusco, you will need to take another bus to Ollantaytambo. From Ollantaytambo, find the train station and purchase a ticket for the train to Aguas Calientes. The train ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. After arriving in Aguas Calientes, it's a short walk or a quick taxi ride to the hostel located at Ave Pachacutec 806.
Train
If you are already in Cusco, you can buy a train ticket directly to Aguas Calientes from either the PeruRail or IncaRail companies. The trains depart from the Poroy station (about 20 minutes from Cusco city center) and take around 3.5 to 4 hours to reach Aguas Calientes. After arriving at the Aguas Calientes train station, you can easily walk or take a taxi to Supertramp Hostel at Ave Pachacutec 806.
