Walking
From the historic center of Guimarães, head towards the Praça de Santiago. Once you reach the square, proceed to the north towards the Rua de Santa Maria. Walk straight along this road until you reach the Guimarães train station. From here, take a train to Porto (approx. 30 minutes). After arriving at Porto's São Bento station, exit the station and head towards the Avenida dos Aliados. Continue walking straight until you reach the Ribeira area. The Alminhas of the Bridge is located at Cais da Ribeira, near the Douro River.

From the Guimarães bus station, board a bus heading to Porto. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Disembark at the Campo 24 de Agosto bus stop in Porto. From there, walk towards the Rua de Santa Catarina and then head straight towards the Cais da Ribeira, following signs for the Douro River. Once you reach the river, you will find the Alminhas of the Bridge along the waterfront at Cais da Ribeira.
