From there, head northeast on R. de Santa Maria, passing by the Igreja de São Miguel do Castelo on your right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with R. do Souto. Turn left onto R. do Souto and walk along this road. After a short distance, you will see signs pointing towards the Rota da Biodiversidade da Penha. Follow these signs until you reach the entrance of the hiking trail leading to Baloiço da Rota da Biodiversidade da Penha.

From the central bus station in Guimarães, take the bus number 22 towards the Penha area. The bus journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop called 'Penha', which is near the entrance to the park. From there, follow the signs towards Baloiço da Rota da Biodiversidade da Penha. It's a short walk from the bus stop to the entrance of the hiking trail.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in the city center. Head out of the city on R. de Santa Maria towards R. do Souto. Continue following the road signs to Penha. The bike ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. Once you arrive at the Penha area, lock your bike at the designated bike parking area and follow the signs to Baloiço da Rota da Biodiversidade da Penha.
