Walking
Start from Nyagatare Town Center. Head east on Avenue de l'Indépendance towards the main road (A1). Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with the A1 road. Turn right onto the A1 road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs pointing towards Nyarutovu. Follow the signs, and after another 2 kilometers, you will see the entrance to Mount Kabuye Private Camping Site on your left.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Nyagatare. Start at Nyagatare Town Center and head towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Once you reach the A1 road, turn right and cycle for about 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for Nyarutovu signs, turn left and continue for another 2 kilometers until you reach the Mount Kabuye Private Camping Site entrance.

Motorbike Taxi (Moto)
From anywhere in Nyagatare, find a motorbike taxi (moto) by asking locals or looking for designated moto stands. Negotiate the fare before starting. Ask the driver to take you to Mount Kabuye Private Camping Site. They should know the location as it is popular among tourists. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.

Public Transport (Bus)
Locate the bus station in Nyagatare. Take a bus heading towards Nyarutovu. After approximately 30 minutes, ask the conductor to drop you off at the nearest stop to Mount Kabuye. From there, it may require a short walk or moto to reach the camping site. Keep your eyes peeled for signs related to the camping site.
