Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from any point in Nyungwe Forest National Park, head towards the main park road. Follow the signs towards the Nyungwe Ecotourism Center, which is located in the Nyamagabe district. The GPS coordinates for the center are approximately -2.5275357 latitude and 29.4132428 longitude. Once you reach the vicinity, look for the distinct signage that directs you to the center. Parking is typically available on-site.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can take a local bus from nearby towns like Huye or Nyamagabe towards the park. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Nyungwe Forest National Park.
