After about 70 kilometers, you will approach the town of Huye. From Huye, take the road towards Nyungwe, which is well marked. The journey from Volcanoes National Park to Nyungwe Forest National Park takes about 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Ensure you have enough fuel and snacks for the journey, as stops may be limited.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Musanze to Huye. First, travel from Volcanoes National Park to Musanze by local taxi or car, which should take about 30 minutes.
