    From Cyangugu, head southeast on Avenue de la Révolution towards Avenue du Lac. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route Nationale 3 (RN3) heading towards Nyungwe National Park. Follow RN3 for about 30 km, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Once you reach the entrance to Nyungwe National Park, follow the signs to the Reception Center located at Colline Ibanda. Note that parking is available, but there may be a fee of around 1,000 RWF.

    From Cyangugu, locate the bus station near the main market. Take a bus heading to Nyungwe National Park or a bus that stops in the nearby town of Kitabi. The fare should be around 1,500 RWF. The bus ride will take approximately 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the designated drop-off point near Nyungwe, you may need to take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) for the last 10 km to the Nyungwe National Park Reception. The moto-taxi fare should be around 1,000 RWF.
