If you're driving from the town of Kamembe, take the road towards Nyamasheke. After approximately 20 km, you'll reach the junction for Gisakura. Turn left at the junction and continue straight for about 10 km. You will see signs for One&Only Nyungwe House on your left as you approach the Nyungwe Forest Reserve. The road is generally well maintained, but be cautious of local wildlife and pedestrians.

From Kamembe, you can take a minibus (known locally as a taxi-brousse) heading to Nyamasheke. These minibuses leave from the main bus station and cost around 1,000 Rwandan Francs (approx. $1). Once you arrive in Nyamasheke, you will need to hire a motorcycle taxi (moto) to take you to One&Only Nyungwe House, which is approximately 10 km away. The moto ride should cost around 2,000 Rwandan Francs (approx. $2).
