Walking
From the center of Freetown, head south towards the beach. Make your way to the main road, Lumley Beach Road. Walk along Lumley Beach Road towards the west, passing by local shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the road leading to Freeman's Bay. At the junction, take a left onto the road that leads towards Freeman's Bay. Continue straight until you see signs for Galleon Beach. The beach will be on your right side, and you will see the entrance.
Public Transport (Buses)
Head to the nearest bus stop in Freetown. Look for a bus heading towards Lumley Beach. Once aboard, inform the driver that you are going to Freeman's Bay. The bus will drop you off at the junction of Lumley Beach Road and the road leading to Freeman's Bay. From there, walk along the road towards Freeman's Bay, and follow the signs for Galleon Beach, which will be on your right.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Freetown. Start your ride heading south on Lumley Beach Road. Follow the same route as you would walking, passing by shops and restaurants. Upon reaching the junction with the road to Freeman's Bay, take a left and continue cycling straight until you arrive at Galleon Beach on your right.
