From the center of Custer State Park, head northeast on Wildlife Loop Road (SD-87) towards Custer. Continue for about 9 miles until you reach the junction with US-16A. Turn left onto US-16A and drive for approximately 3 miles. Next, merge onto US-16 West. After about 5 miles, take the exit for SD-44 East. Follow SD-44 for about 2 miles, then turn right onto Cosmos Rd. Continue on Cosmos Rd for about 1 mile until you reach the Cosmos Mystery Area at 24040 Cosmos Rd, Rapid City, SD 57702.
