Car
If you're driving from the Needles Highway area, start by heading north on SD-87 towards Custer. Continue on SD-87 for approximately 11 miles until you reach the junction with US-16. Turn left onto US-16 and continue for about 5 miles. Then, take the exit towards SD-44 East and merge onto SD-44. After about 2 miles, turn right onto Cosmos Road (look for signs directing you to the Cosmos Mystery Area). Continue on Cosmos Road for about 1 mile, and you will see the Cosmos Mystery Area on your right at 24040 Cosmos Rd, Rapid City, SD 57702.
