From Kandy, head to the Kandy Central Bus Station. Look for buses heading towards Matale or Illukkumbura. The 'Matale' buses are frequent and should be clearly marked. Get on the bus and inform the conductor you want to get off at 'Illukkumbura'. The bus ride should take approximately 1 hour depending on traffic.
