Walking
Start your journey from the Kandy Clock Tower, a central landmark in Kandy. Head south on Dalada Veediya towards the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Peradeniya Road (A1). Turn left onto Peradeniya Road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Peradeniya Railway Station. From there, take a train to the nearest station to Pitawala Pathana Ella Fall No 2, which is the Gampola Railway Station.

Board the train at Peradeniya Railway Station heading towards Gampola. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Gampola Station, exit the station and head towards the main road.

Tuk-tuk
From Gampola Railway Station, you can hire a tuk-tuk or a local taxi. Tell the driver you want to go to Pitawala Nature Trail. It is approximately a 30-minute ride from Gampola to the trailhead. The driver will take you to the entrance of the trail, where you can start your trek to the falls.

Hiking
Once you arrive at the trailhead, you will need to hike approximately 1 kilometer along the Pitawala Nature Trail. Follow the marked paths and enjoy the scenic views. The trail is relatively easy and should take you about 20-30 minutes to reach Pitawala Pathana Ella Fall No 2.
