From Kandy, head to the Kandy Bus Station (located at the center of the city). Look for buses heading to Matale. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Matale, get off at the Matale Main Bus Station.

Tuk-Tuk
At Matale Main Bus Station, you can hire a tuk-tuk to Riverston. Show the driver the address 'Pitawala, Riverston Basecamp Madaela, Matale 21406'. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes, as the distance is approximately 15 km from Matale.

Hike
If you are feeling adventurous, you can choose to hike the last part from the nearest road access to Riverston Basecamp. From the tuk-tuk drop-off point, follow the trail signs leading towards Riverston. Ensure you have a good map or GPS, as the trails can be tricky.
