From Kandy, head to the Kandy Central Bus Station. Look for buses heading towards Nuwara Eliya or Mahiyangana. You can take any bus that passes through the town of Wattegama. The bus fare is usually very affordable, around LKR 50-100. Once you reach Wattegama, inform the conductor that you are going to Rangala. The journey should take approximately 30-45 minutes.

After getting off at Wattegama, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Rangala. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; it should cost around LKR 800-1500 depending on your bargaining skills. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes. Ensure the driver knows the exact location (8QFG+55X, Rangala) as it is not a widely known area.

If you are feeling adventurous and the weather is good, you can also choose to walk from Wattegama to Rangala. The distance is approximately 7 km, and it will take you about 1.5-2 hours on foot. Take the main road from Wattegama and follow the signs towards Rangala. Enjoy the scenic views along the way, but ensure you have a map or GPS as some areas may not be well marked.
